To witness and be witnessed in embodied expressions of connection, deep listening, power, vulnerability and truth is a gift. Authentic expression has a particular tone to it.
The interplay between seeing and being seen may evoke an alchemy that makes visible what I’ll call the sacred third. This synthesis made visible reveals a powerful creative impulse that is generative, self informing and always present.
The genesis of this gallery comes through my own journey of seeing, dreaming, dancing, and the power of being in nature.
Further, this gallery formed as a few brave souls stepped forward to collaborate with me to create these photographs, and evolved into something I had not expected.
*I am often struck by the way a song or poem may have begun in one direction and become something else altogether.
To be sure there is method, madness, and muse in the mix of this gallery.
My hope is that these images may inspire a life affirming invitation to connection, beauty, and the mystery of exploring who we are and who we are becoming.
